Robert J. Simpson is a retired Senior Associate of Collingwood Appraisals Ltd. Rob passed the required examinations and was awarded the Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) designation in January of 1982 by the Appraisal Institute of Canada, Certificate No. 2144. The Appraisal Institute of Canada has a Continuing Professional Development Program for designated members and he has fulfilled the requirements of the program. Rob has appeared as an expert witness before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Rob retired from professional practice at the end of 2020. He is currently using his years of experience to conduct market research which is used to populate our internal market database.

Professional experience throughout the Lower Mainland related to institutional, civic and provincial agencies property valuation including partial acquisitions and expropriation for rights of way, park land and hospital sites. Provided valuation and property studies, arbitration and negotiations for individuals, lending institutions, accountants and lawyers including development land, retail centres, office and industrial projects and special purpose properties such as schools and public assemblies.
